1963. "Coupe de l'Europe Centrale / Finaliste - 1963 (Közép-európai Kupa / Döntős 1963)" peremén jelzett Ag díjérem az öt résztvevő ország zománcozott címerével, eredeti tokban (12,90g/0.935/31mm). A Közép-európai Kupában öt ország klubcsapatai vettek részt, ezek Magyarország, Jugoszlávia, Ausztria, Olaszország és Csehszlovákia voltak. 1963-ban magyar, sőt, budapesti házidöntőt rendeztek, hiszen az MTK és a Vasas csapott össze a fináléban, amely akkor még oda-visszavágós volt. Mindkét találkozót a Népstadionban rendezték. Az első mérkőzésre 1963. június 26-án került sor az MTK pályaválasztásával, 25000 néző előtt. A kék-fehérek 2-1-re verték meg a címvédő Vasast, Nagy István és Kuti István góljaival, amelyekre csak Machos Ferenc tudott válaszolni. Az angyalföldiek pályaválasztásával július 3-án, 30000 néző előtt 1-1-es döntetlen született, Kuti István góljával szerzett vezetést az MTK, a Vasas pedig Machos találatával egyenlített, de összesítésben 3-2-es vereséget szenvedett a kék-fehérektől. A Vasas egyébként összesen hat alkalommal hódította el a trófeát, ezzel pedig a kupasorozat történetének legsikeresebb klubja, míg az MTK két aranyérmet ünnepelhetett. A sorozat 1992-ben megszűnt. In 1963, a Hungarian home final was arranged, MTK and Vasas faced each other in the final, which was still a back-and-forth match. Both meetings were held at the Népstadion. The first match took place on June 26, 1963, in front of 25,000 spectators. The MTK beated the champion Vasas to 2-1 with goals from István Nagy and István Kuti, to which only Ferenc Machos could answer. The Vasas and the MTK played the second match at July 3rd, which resulted in a 1-1 draw, in front of 30000 spectators. MTK took the lead with a goal by István Kuti, and Vasas equalized with a goal from Machos, but they lost 3-2 on aggregate. By the way, Vasas won the trophy a total of six times, making it the most successful club in the history of the cup series, while MTK won the trophy twice. The series ended in 1992 C:UNC patina
