A könyvhöz tartozó kártyán a szerző, Szélpál Árpád saját kezű dedikációjával ("Kedves Józsi! Itt küldöm az ígért könyvet. ..."), dátumozva (Sceaux, 1978. dec. 4.) Szélpál Árpád (1897-1987) költő, újságíró, fotóművész, avantgárd mozgalmak tagja (Galilei kör, Kassák csoportja), első versei a MA folyóiratban jelentek meg.
