Nekem külön javamra volt, hogy esztendőkig egy szerkesztőségben a közelében lehettem és így példaadóan hathatott rám annyi kiválóságával, meleg férfias jellemével, s érezhettem bensőséges, atyaian kollegiális szeretetét ujságíróskodásom legküzdelmesebb idején (...)"
