Kriegsmarine SMS Lacroma. The letter writer is the Austro-Hungarian Navy freshman cadet (Árpád Szelke), later the Lieutenant commander of U-16 submarine. WWI 1916 October 17, the Captain of the sinking U-16 submarine instructed him to destroy the secret documents and the ship's book
