Korabeli egészvászon-kötés, kissé kopottas borítóval, foltos lapokkal, a címlap hátoldalára beragasztott árnyképpel. Kerényi Frigyes (1822-1852), a fiatalon elhunyt költő első verseskötete. A Petőfi által alapított Tízek Társasága tagja, a költő barátja volt. Versei számos korabeli lapban megjelentek, 1844-ig Vidor Emil álnéven publikált.
