A második és harmadik oldalon az S.M.S. Viribus Unitis látható a hajóépítési folyamat különböző szakaszaiban. A negyedik oldal a hajó színes oldalnézeti képe, statisztikai adatokkal. Osztrák nemzetiszínű szalaggal fűzve.

1911 Four-page brochure published to celebrate the official launching of S.M.S. Viribus Unitis, Austria-Hungary's first ironclad, on June 24, 1911.
The first page lists the names and positions of the members of the team that designed and built the battleship, beginning with Siegfried Popper, the naval engineer responsible for the designs of so many Habsburg ships. Pages two and three show S.M.S. Viribus Unitis at different stages of the shipbuilding process. Page four is a color rendering of the dreadnaught, seen from starboard, and includes statistical data.

Egy dalmát tengerész élete az osztrák-magyar haditengerészetnél (K. u. k. Kriegsmarine).
Radman (Máté) Miroslav a Split melletti Muć Donji nevű kis faluban született. Hivatásos tengerész volt, pályafutása nyomon követhető bőséges, fennmaradt levelezésén. Tudható, hogy 1907-ben Tiencsinben (Kínában) volt az S.M.S. Kaiser Franz Josef I legénységének tagjaként. 1912-ben áthelyezték S.M.S. Köröshöz a Duna Flottillánál. A következő évben ismét a sósvízi haditengerészetnél szolgált, a flotta zászlóshajója, az S.M.S. Viribus Unitis fedélzetén. Van egy fénykép róla, amelyen egy tengeralattjáró fedélzetén látható Gjenovičban 1917-ben, és néhány képeslap, köztük egy karácsonyi üdvözlőlap, melyet neki címeztek az ottani tengeralattjáró-állomáson, 1918. áprilisi dátumozással. Azonban a fennmaradt levelek többsége (össz. 24 db) 1914-1916-ból származik, amikor első osztályú tengerész volt az S.M.S. Radetzky fedélzetén, Pólában. / One Dalmatian Sailor's Life in the k.u.k. MIROSLAV (MATE) RADMAN was born in the small village of Muć Donji near Split. He was a professional sailor whose career can be followed on his abundant extant correspondence. We know he was in Tientsin in 1907 with S.M.S. Kaiser Franz Josef I. In 1912 he was sent to S.M.S. Körös, with the Danube Flotilla. The following year he was back in the salt-water navy on board the fleet flagship S.M.S. Viribus Unitis. There is a photograph of him inside a submarine in Gjenovič in 1917, and some postcards, including a Christmas card, addressed to him at the U-Boat Station there as late as April 1918. But the bulk of the letters that have survived (24 in this collection, including a registered letter sent from Selca) dates from the years 1914-1916 when he was a Seaman First Class on board S.M.S. Radetzky in Pola.

/ S.M.D. X. The document appears to be an official listing of the food supplies (32 different items) paid for by the ship's treasury (4,255.99 kronen) and listed on the back. In addition to usual items such as bread, hard tack (Zwieback), wine, rice, sugar, different kinds of meat, etc., I notice (at line 6) nine pounds of Kriegs-Kaffee (burnt barley and acorns) at 2.50 kronen per pound. It would have been interesting to know the correct date of this document: many articles that would disappear by 1917 were still available, including real coffee, one pound of which was purchased (at line 24) for 8.50 kronen, presumably for the officers' mess.
