1876.V.12 Sopron, gróf Esterházy Pál (1843-1898) levele ismeretlennek, amelyben Simon Gyula (1838-1893) jogász, politikus mint Moson vármegyei alispáni jelöltállításáról ír. Simon Gyula 1871-től tevékenykedett alispánként, majd 1880-ban országgyűlési képviselő, később haláláig Moson vármegye főispánja (1884-1893). A levélben még Simon Ödönt említik meg mint főjegyzői jelöltet. Két kézzel írt oldal német nyelven, Esterházy Pál fejléces, iniciálékkal és koronával díszített levélpapírján és autográf aláírásával. + Esterházy Herczeg Kismartony uradalma pecsét, 1898. évi dátummal ellátott lapon.
