Gró Lajos (1901-1943) zsidó származású kritikus, író. a magyar filmesztétika egyik úttörője. Részt vett az 1918-1919-es forradalmi mozgalmakban. Filmesztétikával 1922-től foglalkozott. Népszavában, a Szocializmusban, a Munkában, a Korunkban, a Nyugatban és más lapokban jelentek meg írásai. Kapcsolatban állt Balázs Bélával. Számos írásában foglalkozott a szovjet filmművészet fejlődésében.
