A borító és a címlap illusztrációja Fáy Dezső (1888-1954) festőművész munkája. Gróf Haller Alréd (1908-1944) katonatiszt, költő, újságíró, vadászati szakíró verseskötete. Budapest ostroma alatt a nyílasok végeztek vele. A szerző által Harasztos Albert szerkesztő, író, újságírónak dedikált példány. A dedikáció érdekessége, hogy Harasztos Albert is Budapest ostroma során vesztette életét.
