1905 Szalonna (Borsod), Református templom a 13. századból. Szalonna és Vidéke Fogyasztási szövetkezet kiadása (EK)

A református templom Szalonna legnevezetesebb látnivalója. Az Árpád-korban épült templom a falu központjában, egy kisebb dombon áll. Az eredeti körtemplom (rotunda) átalakított állapotban maradt ránk: a rotunda nyugati oldalát elbontották, és szabálytalan négyszög alakú hajóval bővítették. Eredetileg katolikusok építették, ma a református gyülekezeté. A rotunda belső falán fennmaradt értékes freskótöredékek négy évszázad művészetén ívelnek át.

The Calvinist church is the most famous sight in Szalonna. The church, built in the Árpád era, stands on a small hill in the center of the village. The original round church (rotunda) has survived to us in a modified state: the western side of the rotunda was demolished and an irregular rectangular nave was added. Originally built by Catholics, it now belongs to the Calvinist congregation. The valuable fresco fragments preserved on the inner wall of the rotunda span four centuries of art.
