Kartonált papírkötés, márványozott lapélekkel, kopott borítóval, hiányzó előzéklappal, a címlapon bejegyzésekkel, régi intézményi bélyegzéssel. Giacomo Margotti (1823-1887) olasz pap, újságíró, a Risorgimento szellemi harcainak ismert személyisége. Az Armonia c. katolikus hetilap szerkesztője 1849-től 1863-ig. Az olasz liberálisok ellenfele. 1858-as angliai utazása után írta meg jelen könyvét, melyben IX. Pius pápai államát vette védelmébe az olasz liberálisok támadásaival szemben. Ritka.
