2021. 500.000Ft Au "Országépítő királyok - Szent István" kapszulában, tanúsítvánnyal, tokban (31,104g/0.999). A kétévente megjelenő Országépítő királyok sorozat első elemeként Szent Istvánról jelent meg emlékérme bronz, ezüst és arany kiadásban. István (997-1038) apja, Géza fejedelem halála után a primogenitúra (elsőszülöttség) elve alapján vette át a hatalmat, legyőzve a szeniorátusra hivatkozó Koppányt. 1000 végén vagy 1001 elején királlyá koronázták, amivel elnyerte a nyugati uralkodók elismerését. István kiépítette az egyházszervezetet (esztergomi érsekség és tíz püspökség), leverte a pogánylázadásokat, létrehozta a vármegyerendszert, saját pénzt veretett. Intézkedései nyomán Magyarország szilárd, európai monarchiává vált. Törvényeivel rögzítette a feudális rendet és a magántulajdont. Mivel fia, Szent Imre herceg 1031-ben elhunyt, az utódlás kérdésessé vált. István végül unokaöccsét, Orseolo Pétert jelölte a trónra. T:PP
Hungary 2021. 500.000 Forint Au "Nation-Building Sovereigns of the Árpád Dynasty - St. Stephen" in capsule, with certificate, in case (31,104g/0.999). As the first element of the biennial "Kings of the Nation-Building" series, a commemorative coin was issued about Saint Stephen in bronze, silver and gold. After the death of his father, Prince Géza, Stephen (997-1038) took power based on the principle of primogeniture, defeating Koppány, who claimed seniority. He was crowned king in late 1000 or early 1001, which earned him the recognition of Western rulers. Stephen developed the church organization (the Archbishopric of Esztergom and ten bishoprics), crushed pagan rebellions, established the county system, and minted his own money. As a result of his measures, Hungary became a solid, European monarchy. He fixed the feudal order and private property with his laws. Since his son, Prince St. Imre, died in 1031, the succession became questionable. Finally, Stephen nominated his nephew, Peter Orseolo, to the throne. C:PP
