Achilles was requisitioned in 1916 by the Zentraltransportleitung (ZTL) for service in the Danube. In 1918, she was returned to DDSG. In 1942, she was transferred to the Hrvatsko riječno brodarstvo of Zagreb, Croatia, and renamed Sava.
