A magyar forradalom és szabadságharc alatt a debreceni Nagytemplomban, a népgyűléssé bővült országgyűlés által 1849. április 14-én elfogadott határozat, amely kimondta Magyarország függetlenségét és a Habsburg-Lotaringiai ház magyarországi trónfosztását. A nyilatkozatot 1849. április 19-én Kossuth Lajos olvasta fel a Nagytemplomban. Aláírói: Almásy Pál, a képviselőház elnöke, Perényi Zsigmond a felsőház másodelnöke és Szacsvay Imre jegyző. Az 1848-49-es szabadságharc ritka dokumentuma. Hajtogatva, közepén ragasztott szakadással, kis lyukakkal. 44x30 cm
