Janusz Korczak, születéskori neve Henryk Goldszmit (1878-1942) lengyel zsidó orvos, gyógypedagógus, a pszichopedagógia ismert művelője, író. / Piroska Hévizi (1911-1994): Janusz Korczak's last moments. Oil on canvas, signed (Hévizi P 1986), with a label on the back, in slightly damaged frame. 80x66,5 cm. Janusz Korczak, the pen name of Henryk Goldszmit (1878-1942), was a Polish Jewish educator, children's author, and pedagogue.
