1939. nov. 10 Márffy Ödön (1878-1959) festőművész autográf kondoleáló levele Gerőéknek, Gerő Ödön (1863-1939) műkritikus családjának. Egy kézzel írt oldal, Márffy Ödön autográf aláírásával, eredeti borítékban. Márffy Gerő Ödönnel való ismeretsége egészen a Nyolcak fennállására vezethető vissza. Az 1911-ben rendezett Nyolcak tárlat zárónapján Gerő előadást tartott a művészcsoportról. 1927-ben Márffy megfestette Gerő Ödönné arcképét (életmű katalógus szám: festmények/ 2.7.2.6), amely igazolja szoros baráti kapcsolatukat.
