Canadian freemason, book publisher, printer, the co-owner of the Rose Publishing Co. with her brothers (George Maclean Rose (1829-1898) Canadian printer, publisher, journalist, wirter), one of the founders of the Numismatic and Antiquarian Society of Montreal, and the publisher of the "The Canadian Antiquarian and Numismatic Journal", the first Canadian numismatic periodical.
