1921. "Budaörsi Csata Emlékére" Károly kereszt kardokkal, zománcozott/aranyozott kitüntetés (19x32mm) E.: piros-fekete zománcozású máltai kereszt, középen körben aranyozott "K" betű; H.: középen felirat "BUDAÖRS 1921", a kereszthez felül aranyozott keresztbe tett kard kapcsolódik és függesztőkarika. A kitüntetést, IV. Károly király másodszori kísérlete a magyar trón megszerzésére ihlette. A királypárti legitimisták alapították, miután IV. Károly csapatai és Horthy Miklós kormányzó csapatai Budaörsnél összecsaptak és mely csata kimenetele IV. Károly veresége lett. A következő évben a volt királyt száműzték Madeira szigetére, ahol 1922. április 1-én halt meg. A kitüntetés nagyon ritka, igazi kuriózum! T:1- Hungary 1921. "Medallion of the Battle of Budaörs" enamelled and gilt decoration with swords (19x32mm) O.: red/black enamelled maltese cross in the middle wit the letter "K"; R.: "BUDAÖRS 1921", above the cross swords with suspension ring. The decoration was instituted by the royalists in 1921 after the Battle of Budaörs where the troops of Charles I (Charles IV in Hungary) and Miklós Horthy were clashed. The second attempt of Charles I to retake the throne of Hungary was not successful, the following year of the battle he was forced into exile on Madeira and died here on 1 April, 1922. The decoration is a real rarity! C:AU
